Brief Outline: Clips and Set up
A - Mark and Richard finish a multimillion dollar construction deal.
B - Richard's son Ricky has been dealing with his father after his mother passed away the year before. Ricky's been getting into drugs and alcohol with some troubled kids at school. In an attempt to feel a sense of family, Ricky decides to show a display of ruthlessness. He decides to rob his father's business and kidnap his childhood friend and hold her for a sizable ransom.
1 - Mark returns home to find his office trashed, his safe emptied, his daughter gone, and a flask that he recognizes as his partner's sons.
2 - The flask sparks memories of his daughter Penny and Ricky as children playing together.
3 - Mark calls Richard and Richard calls Ricky. Ricky then tells his dad his demands.
4 - Mark and Richard drive to the church where Ricky is holding Penny
5 - After a tense standoff Ricky is about to loss it and shoot Penny. Right as he is about to pull the trigger, Richard shoots his son in the head to save Penny's life.
